Two unsuspecting families came home to find their old and shabby kitchens missing having been replaced with a brand spanking new IKEA kitchen by a team of undercover interior experts known as ‘The IKEA Kitchen Squad.’
The undercover group of designers, planners, service experts and installers, have been selected for their kitchen expertise by the IKEA home furnishings company as part of a new three part TV commercial that premieres on Channel 4 tonight at 20:10. The transformation is the first reality home makeover commercial to be aired on TV. It is part of a new approach to kitchens from IKEA UK & Ireland, who has today launched a new kitchen’s website - IKEA.co.uk/thekitchen. It is packed with inspiration and gives visitors lots of design ideas and kitchen planning tips to help them create a kitchen that suits their individual lifestyles.
